McMahon Ryan Holiday Angel Project

Covenant Church is coming alongside McMahon Ryan Child Advocacy Center to provide 24 children representing 5 families in need of support this year. The McMahon Ryan Child Advocacy Center aims to make a child’s life a little brighter through their annual Holiday Angels Project.

Every year they look to their many supporters to serve as “Angels” to families that we serve. Your support of the Holiday Angels Project will help provide a happy holiday for children and families that have experienced the trauma of child abuse.

Here are three ways to participate: 

1. SPONSOR A CHILD (or more)
You can sign up to provide presents (2 needs and 1 want) for one or more child(ren). Please use the signup link below (scroll to bottom of page) to indicate which child(ren) you’re purchasing gifts for so we avoid people purchasing gifts for the same child and can track progress.

Use the other link below (scroll to bottom of page) for information on needs and wants for each child along with other helpful family information.

Gifts are due to Covenant Church by, or prior to, Sunday, December 3rd. If you unable to attend on a Sunday between now and the 3rd, please contact Mike Becher to arrange an alternate time to drop gifts off by emailing mbecher@covenant315.org or call/text (585) 216-5725.

Gifts should be unwrapped, boxed/bagged together per child, with gifts labeled with their family #, name, age, and gender (ie. Family A, Cindy, 7 yrs, girl).

2. DONATE TOWARD FOOD BASKETS
You can give a monetary donation to be used towards food baskets, as each family will receive a food basket and turkey when they pick up their presents. Use THIS LINK to provide a donation toward these food baskets.

NOTE: Providing gifts for the kids is our priority, but if that is something you’re not comfortable doing, this is a great option to provide support to these families

3. VOLUNTEER TO WRAP GIFTS
There are currently 240 children receiving gifts this year through this project, so helping to wrap gifts will provide significant support to their team to get everythign ready for families. Wrapping is based on your availability the week of December 11th; simply come and go as you’re able.
